Monday, Feb 6 - Beginning Salsa level 1 with Jose Cruz

New 4 week session of Beginning salsa 1, Taught by Jose Cruz Latin rhythms musician & Artistic Director of Salseros Dance Company in Eugene since 1999. This class will focus on the fundamentals of salsa as a social dance. You will learn basic steps, easy to learn patterns, techniques and partnering connection. Come learn the skills you need to feel confident on the dance floor and at the same time have fun in the learning process. No partner necessary. Space is limited for this class please sign up in advance. Cost is $45 for the month / $40. Pre-registered. $10 Off with student ID (high-school, College, university) no drop-ins. Tuesday, Feb 7 - Beginning Salsa level 2 with Jose Cruz

New Beginning salsa level 2, part 2 of the Beginning series. This class is for all students coming from Level 1 Classes. You will learn new patterns, continuing partnering work, new turns, movement and more. Class is held at studio B (189 West 8th Ave. Eugene) from 8-9pm, No partner necessary to attend, Cost is $45 for the month / $40. Pre-registered. Thursday, Feb 9 - Beginning Salsa level 3 with Jose Cruz

Everything leads and follows need to know to move well and get control on the dance floor. Friday, Feb 10 - Salsa Dancing & Performances @ the Vet's

Come join us for a special event for all ages @ The Vet's Club Ballroom (1626 Willamette St. 16th and Willamette) with Salsa and Timba Music & dance, Plus Performances by Rumbanana Dance Group From Corvallis (International Cuban Salsa Casino Rueda performance group) Performing Their 2 New Routines for 2012, Casino Rueda performance and Ladies group performance. Two Dance Classes with Jose Cruz Director of Salseros Dance Co. Bachata class at 8:30pm and Salsa Class at 9:15pm ( Classes are Free with Admission to the dance) Music starts at 10pm, Performances @ 11pm.
