Ladies styling Salsa performance class (8 week session) Aska will teach you footwork/stylig/body movement/spin techniques, and will work on the choreography to perform at the end of 8 week session. The only ladies performance class this year! Friday October 10th. Live salsa dance at the Tango Center plays Groupo "Picante" Dance salsa to live music with our loco "Groupo Picante" They start their music performance at 10pm and goes til 2:30am. The biggest Cuban Salsa event this side of the world kicks off on Friday, Oct. 17 with a "Welcome to Oregon, B#$CH#S!" Party. Coming direct from Miami... it's one of the hottest Timba/Reggaeton DJs in the world - DJ Melao. Where? Platinum Club, of course. The event starts at 9:30 p.m. and goes till 2 a.m. But don't forget... it continues on Saturday and Sunday with workshops, performances, live music and tons of partying. Xtreme Cuban Salsa Weekend is in full swing on Satursday with workshops during the day and the super evening gala at night. Open to all ages and skill level, this event will Cuban Salsa stars like Henry Herrera, Duane Wrenn, Maribel Vasques, Jose Carrion, Julian Mejia... plus, live music by Agua Miel and folkloric Cuban drummers.
