Spend a little bit of this Fall learning to dance Salsa from Florabelle & Saul. Florabelle a University dance instructor with a MA in Dance and teacher training and a degree in music & Saul know for his smooth lead & NY style. Together they have been teaching for several years. No previous salsa experience or partner needed. All ages welcome. This beginning salsa class will focus on lead/follow footwork and partnering. We will talk about proper connection you should have with your partner and some techniques for better partnering. Class will meet on Saturday from 3:00-4:00pm @ the Eugene Ballet Academy 1590 Willamette St. up stairs. Cost for the 4 class is $35 if you pre-register, or $40 if you don't. New 4 week session with Jose Cruz. This class will teach you all the basic steps, patterns, technique, partnering connection and all the details you need to know to get you started. This class is for the absolute beginner or for anybody who wants to brush up the basic steps and go back to the basics. No experience or partner necessary to attend. Cost is $45 for the month / $40. The class is open to people that have taken a beginning salsa 4 class or have been dancing for six months or more.
